I am so thrilled for her and proud of her. Not just because she graduated with honors in an program with an incredibly tough curriculum, but because she discovered the amazing gifts of compassion, love, patience, fortitude and courage that God gave her, and she put them to use in the art of caretaking and healing.
Kari is an amazing young woman with fantastic gifts that so many of us will never possess. The heart for holding someone's hand as they pass to the next life. The stomach for dealing with wounds and unpleasant bodily functions. And the spirit to bring peace to the heart of a patient who is anxious and afraid.
